This premium honey is produced in various regions around the world and is especially famous in Gulf countries, with Yemeni Sidr honey being the most well-known.
However, Yemen’s production is limited and cannot meet global demand, leading to imports of wild jujube honey from other regions, which is then sold under the name Sidr honey at premium prices. The name “Sidr” is actually an Arabic term.
In India, Rajasthan has extensive areas with abundant wild jujube trees, allowing the country to produce a significant quantity of high-quality Sidr honey. This honey is highly sought after and is exported to Gulf countries at a good price.

Plastic bottle had a problem where honey would remain in the cap and leak when the bottle was squeezed while consuming honey. This problem should be addressed or a new bottle with no leaks should be considered by honey manufacturer

Absolutely a gem product. Has the real taste of honey. It tasted so fresh and seemed as if it is straight from the beehive. Other brands of honey that I have used mostly taste of sugar. This is my personal experience. This honey tastes like honey only. I had bought it after reading its review on Amazon.

No expert but if my experience of last 11 bottles is anything to go by, honey seems as good as it gets. I doubt if a better quality honey exists in today’s India where fake spurious products abound. Don’t think you should think twice. Just buy.

I have tried various Sidr honey during my time in Dubai. I loved the unfiltered/raw Yemeni Sidr the most and it costed around Rs.3000 (Dh150) for 500ml. Although the viscosity of this Bharat sidr honey is not as good as the quality I mentioned but its acceptable for the price you pay and taste is delightful. It’s comparable to the more expensive honey that I loved.Thank you Bharat Honey !!
